Orion S.A. announced it is producing circular carbon black at its ISCC PLUS-certified plant in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, China.

The facility is making three grades — ECORAX® Circular 200, 210 and 215 — from tire pyrolysis oil (TPO). ECORAX® 200 is a hard black suitable for tires, while the 210 and 215 grades can be used for tires and mechanical rubber goods (MRG).

Goodyear to offer 6-year senior notes

Goodyear intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay, redeem or repurchase its outstanding 4.875% Senior Notes due 2027 (the “4.875% Notes”) at or prior to their maturity on March 15, 2027. Any remaining net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. As of March 31, 2026, there was $700 million in aggregate principal amount of the 4.875% Notes outstanding. Pending the repayment, redemption or repurchase of the 4.875% Notes, Goodyear intends to temporarily apply a portion of the net proceeds from this offering to repay outstanding balances under certain credit facilities.

Subaru Trailseeker to come equipped with Yokoma Advan V61 tires

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. announced that it has begun supplying its ADVAN V61 and GEOLANDAR X-CV tires as original equipment (OE) for the new Trailseeker (European specification name: E-Outback) SUV-type battery electric vehicle (BEV) that Subaru Corporation first debuted in the U.S. in April 2025. The tires supplied in Japan and Europe are ADVAN V61 tires size 235/60R18 103H, and those supplied in North America are GEOLANDAR X-CV size 235/50R20 100V.
